Do you have any suggestions for the best places to buy a Christmas tree?
There are many places to get a live tree but not all are equal. I’ll break it down by cost vs quality. If you’re on a budget, many grocery stores have ok Douglas Fir trees for under $30. If you want a bit nicer tree such as Blue Spruce, there are temporary tree lots all around town that can set you up for a little more money. Be aware some will ask you to buy a tree stand from them too. If you want the best in freshness, visit one of several tree farms in the area. I’ve been happy with the Red Wood Christmas Tree Farm (13925 Woodinville-Redmond road, Redmond). If you want a little bit more adventure drive out to Fall City Farms where you can select and cut your own tree. For the lowest cost on U-Cut (and the ultimate adventure in trekking through wet woods), you can also get a permit to cut on State or National Forest Lands.
